Hello!
I'm a freelance illustrator based in Bratislava, Slovakia.
I've studied printmaking and illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. During the studies I've spent one semester at the Haute école des arts du Rhin in Strasbourg, France and another one at the Designskolen Kolding in Denmark.
I usually create my artwork digitally, but I also love painting with gouache. I love playing with stylized forms and textures to give it a retro, analog vibe. I always try to adapt my style to fit the assignment's theme and audience, and I enjoy experimenting with my drawing style. Sometimes I enjoy bringing my drawings to life through animation.
I prefer to work on commissions that align with my values. I illustrate and occasionally write for Kurník, an intersectional feminist magazine. I initiated and illustrated a Roma–Slovak workbook for children from marginalized communities in Slovakia. I’ve also collaborated with clients focused on environmental protection, cultural heritage preservation in Slovakia, and promoting a more inclusive society.
Some of the books I illustrated were awarded at Najkrajšie knihy Slovenska (The Most beautiful books of Slovakia).
I am a member of The Slovak Illustrators Association (ASIL).
When I am not illustrating I read or hike.
